We live in time where alcohol consumption is at at a peak. More than ever fans of NFL football, NHL hockey, American and National Baseball leagues are becoming intoxicated at games at an alarming rate. As we approach Superbowl Sunday, I would like to take the opportunity to remind fans to be more aware of how much alcohol they are consuming at the game.
Alcohol Awareness is Need for the NFL's Superbowl SundayImagine what it would be like to not have to deal with so many fans being drunk during one of the most important games of the year. Imagine how many potential lives might be saved by more fans paying attention to how much they are drinking. Now more than ever, hear this message, "Don't drink in excess, be respectful of yourself and others, and don't drink and drive".
Alcohol Education is AvailableFor those that don't fully understand the implications of excessive alcohol use, they might find it a benefit to get some additional education through an
alcohol awareness class. Programs such as these teach the consumer about the costs and consequences of alcohol use and abuse as well as the legal ramifications for getting pulled over while being under the influence.
On Game day, Think before you DrinkSo, whether you are watching the game at home, or you are attending in person, be mindful of your alcohol consumption. Alcohol should not be confused with being safe. It is a drug. It just happens to be a legal drug that can be easily abused. More information can be found for
alcohol classes online.
