The County of Santa Barbara is committed to providing a quality education and learning
experience regarding the risks and consequences of alcohol use. County residents
who receive a Social Host Liability Ordinance citation will be required to complete
a 4 hour online Alcohol Awareness Class.
The purpose of this online class is to provide education about the risks of alcohol
use, abuse, dependence and addiction. The course is completely educational, and
is meant to be a positive learning experience. Creating the safest possible environments
in our communities for all county residents is the goal of this process.
